it's a syrup, and I still taste a bitter aftertaste when I had one last night, however when I arrived home, I put a shot of Kahula in my wife and mine's drink, it made quite an improvement! no more bitter aftertaste
 so if you can get away with it, I suggest putting a shot of kahula in with this and seeing what you think!
