my humi failed the flashlight test

well i finally worked up the courage to test my humi and sure enough the lid does not seal tight. i had a feeling that this would end up happening. i put a flashlight in and turned out the lights, and i saw light through all 3 sides ( i didnt bother looking in the back). it's too late for me to get my money back on it, so what are my options? i found this post while searching the cedar room http://forums.cigarweekly.com/viewtopic.php?t=62789 but i dont have any cedar tubes to strip.

luckily, the cold weather has finally arrived in louisiana so my temp/humi is 73/72 these days. of course, you have to account for a deviation of about 3 deg on my caliber II (or so i'm told). anyways, thats not the point. i feel like i got a bunk humi!!

also, i should note that i am not a carpenter so pls dont suggest any projects requiring tools :P
