I got the heebie jeebies, MOLD!

Well my first real incident with storage problems, an attack of blue green mold. Odd as it's 60-ish in the house, and the RH has been in the low to mid 60's.(fairly accurate digital gauge)
The affected cigars were in the tray right above the Oshkosh unit (passive) which was pretty close. As there was mold on the slats on the tray, I think maybe it was too close to the top of the humidifier's opening. An overreaction to be sure, but I tossed the three affected ones, and quarantined the other nekked cigars.
I suspect had they been cello wrapped this wouldn't have happened?
