Best "Cheap" Cigars?

Does anyone have any favorite "cheap" cigars they would recommend. By "cheap" I am talking in the $1 - $2 per stick range. The closest I have are the Flor de Oliva bundles. For less than $53 I can get a bundle of 20 of the maduros, which I really like. I can also get Oliva Master Blend 3's for $3.99 a stick regularly at Holt's. These are my most smoked cigar. Not because of the price. I just love them.

So do any of you know of really cheap cigars that are good?

"The closest I have are the Flor de Oliva bundles."

Rob and I have had many offline conversations regarding his subject ..

My quoted line above , I personally didn't care for them ...

Now then , he turned me onto the MB3's , I do not think you can find a better deal than those ....

As he said $4 each .... check out Holts for them ...

Dan

P.s. Rob also turned me onto Punch , probably some of the best cigars for the price !!

cigar.com Primeros Regionals Nicaraguan toros have been a cheap favorite of mine for almost 10 years. At $59.99 for a bundle of 40 they hit your price mark at $1.50 per stick. When I first tried them they were only $50 per bundle of 40. They come in four different lengths, all 50 ring gauge, but IMO the toros are the best, with the robutoes next.

Keith, stogie5150, has turned me on to a few different ones.
The Artisan by Famous is good.
Don Rafael from Victor Sinclair with the white band is quite worthwhile.
Quorum from J.C.Newman is a decent cigar.
Villazon, especially the maduro, from C.I. is now a staple in my rotation as are the Cusano Nicaragua and maduro.

I do like the Flor de Oliva Maduro cigars. I'm not a fan of the regular Flor de Oliva sticks. I also like the Flor de Oliva Gold cigars. But I usually only smoke those in the morning at camp.

I'll have to check those out. Do you have a preferred supplier? Link?

I buy when I catch them on sale. Mostly, I buy from C.I. as they have the best prices when they put things on sale. It bothers me a little as I would love to help other businesses, but I have to buy by price point.

I have purchased the Cusano from Holt's as their regular daily price is only an occasional sale at C.I. These are usually between $32.00 and $39.00 for boxes of 16 on a daily basis at Holt's.

C.I. and Thompson (same company, now) have the Don Rafael at good prices all the time. Thompson carries, or they feature, more Victor Sinclair lines regularly. Someone sent me a V.S. sampler from Thompson, and I found them better than I had thought they would be.

Thompson also has PDR bundles for $29.99? They're called the Value Line...come in Habano, maduro, and Cameroon. I was surprised by these, as well, they were in the sampler I received.

I wouldn't call it a "cheap" cigar, but I get CAO Brazilia Gols for around 2.20/stick. Great
smoke, especially for the price.
