the Buffalo Bills of the NBA?
If Kidd stays, I can see two more losses in the finals, to SA next year and Houston the following.

sorry, that job is taken by my Blazers. I think we have made it to the playoffs 21 years in a row w/o a title.

We'll see how the Pistons make out June 26th before we give the final trip in 2004 to Buffalo/Jersey.
New Jersey Nots.

I agree with the Buffalo/Nets similarity.
Is there a way I can see the Eastern Conference win a championship before I die? |

No. The Nets are not the Bills. When the Bills faced the Giants in the superbowl they were prohibitive favorites. I recal hearing bills fans taunting me that they would run the score up on the hapless Giants. Since then wide right has taken on its own meaning.
The Nets were not in the situation. They were the underdogs to being with. Also.. The Nets would have had to lose to another Pacific team to be the Bills. The Bills lost to the Giants, Redskins and Cowboys - all from the same division. I really apologize to Buffalo fans but its important that we get this striaght: the Bills lost to the GIANTS first, then the Redskins, then the Cowboys. All teams from the NFC east. So IMHO, the Nets are not the Bills. :P
