Blazer CG-001 sprung a leak

Hello All,

I have a blazer "cigar" lighter that's about 4 years old. I dropped the lighter on my concrete garage floor and I now the lighter has a crack somewhere near the viewing window (I can't visibly see where) because when I inject it with butane the butane comes out immediately.

Outside of throwing this thing away, do I have any other options? Would repair costs be just as much as a new lighter?

Thanks.

If the tank is cracked, the lighter is toast.

Thanks. I figured that would be the case.

I've been out of the loop for awhile...are there any sub $35 lighters on par with CG-001? What I liked about this lighter was the fuel window, large fuel tank and somewhat wide flame. Just curious if any better alternatives have entered the market in the last couple of years.

Thanks

The CG-001 is the PB-207 in a different case. Mine never worked right from the day I got it, and their crappy warranty makes it not worth the money to repair. I have several friends who have had bad experiences with Blazers in the last couple of years. It seems to me that their quality control is in the toilet. JMO, YMMV.
