Wow! This is appropriate. Was all prepared to rave this morning about the Ultimate Candela I smoked out on the deck last night. To my taste, it was a great change of pace from the Oscuros and Maduros I seem to have a lot of. Not sweet at all, but kind of spicy and refreshing. No bite to speak of. As an Ultimate, it was no surprise that it smoked very well; no plugging, and it needed very little touching up with the torch.
The cigar came as part of a JR Ultimate sampler: all five wrappers on the same corona. If someone is interested, I might be up for a box split; maybe a box of the same cigar in a nat?
