Thomas H. Handy Rye
There has been some disucssion lately about George T Stagg and Sazarac 18, so I thought I thought I should start some discussion about Thomas H. Handy.
THH is also part of Bufflo Trace's "Antique Collection." It is named after the New Orleans bartender who is believed to have first used Rye to make the Sazerac Cocktail. It is uncut, unfiltered, barrel strength whiskey....yum! I set out on a treasure hunt today in search of Sazerac 18 and was lucky enough to find it AND the Thomas H. Handy expression. What are your thoughts on it?
