Kick drum
I worked in a small recording studio in the early 80's as an assistant engineer. We always worked real hard to capture a good kick drum Q.
As I was driving home today, I heard Golden Earring's 'Twilight Zone' and let me tell you, those engineers nailed that kick drum. I'm sure they let the drummer explore the space of the studio to get that kick drum. What is your favorite kick drum recording? |
