What's the deal with the Trois Diamant that Lew is selling soon...? UN boxpressed CAO Annis is that correct. Same cigar just round instead of b-pressed....Is that correct. Can you talk about it. Lew said it was deal between himself and CAO....What's the scoop
on these

That is my understanding mannish. The are the same blends as the regular CAO Anni's but not boxpressed. The packaging looks way cool as well.

It's very rare that I get in on a 'feeding frenzy' with new JR's stuff. I usually wait for the crowd to die down, and read some of the reviews.
These things look very interesting though. I guess these are the ones in the 'samplers' that were being shipped recently (never got one myself - since being hooked on isoms!)

The 'Trois Diamant' is a package made exclusively for Lew and JR by C.A.O.

The blends are the same as the C.A.O. Cameroon, Maduro, and eXtreme lines, however, the sizes/shapes/names are exclusive for JR and trademarked by JR, as well. These shapes are not box-pressed, and like all of the C.A.O. L'Anniversaire Series cigars, these are made by Tabacalera Perdomo in Esteli, Nicaragua.

I have seen the mock-up of the final packaging and I will say that it is one of the most inventive presentations I've seen in some time. The Trois Diamant is truly an exceptional offering and everyone here at C.A.O. hope that JR and JR's customers will be thrilled with it...

Hope this answers any questions - as always, thanks for everyone's interest and support.

YOU DA" MAN! Had a Sambo yesterday that was out of this world. I think CAO is the only non-isom cigar I look forward to smoking anymore
