GR Specials ( a great new find)
George Rico and his father make the Gran Habanos line and now they have come out with their Specials. I have only tried the red banded sitck. There is a green banded one which is a claro.
The red stick has a nice dark oily wrapper. I believe it is a corojo. The construction is nice and firm without being over filled. The draw is perfect and the flavors are very pleasant. Not overpowering just a good mix. Now here is the best part. The price is between 2-3 bucks a stick depending upon your retailer. This is one of the best bundled smokes I have found in a looooooong time.

An update...the red band is a rosado wrapper....the green band is a claro. Tried the claro....it is a bit more to the medium side, but still with good spice. These are becoming my go to sticks.

These are long filler. A great value for long filler, flavorful smoke for under $2 per stick. Thanks for the review.
