Regarding the Cowboys...

...the sooner we can all agree to write this season off and start getting Drew Henson some playing time the better. And maybe we should teach some of the guys how to actually tackle the QB once they have surrounded him. Did any one see Vinny basically hand the ball off to the Steelers with the game on the line? Man, they are a comedy of errors.

I was flipping back and forth. Glas the Stros ended later and got me out of my bad mood.

Parcells will not give up on the season this early. He didn't unretire to rebuild. Henson is too green to throw out there with zero running game. If by week 13 or so they are eliminated from playoff contention then Tuna will audition Henson.

You have the pieces for a contender. They just need to get some depth on the front 7 of the D. Newman and Williams are both top 5 at their position.

Yep, he definitely wouldn't give up this early. They also need a good look at Julius Jones. With two 1st-round picks next year, they'll need to know what they need to shop for. Here's to hoping the Bills continue to tank! Hey, you mention Newman -- he may be good, but he's definitely showing he's still young.

You have to admit, Vinny's a HUGE upgrade from what the Boys had! I'm betting Henson's the next Troy Aikman. Let's hope we get a really good look at him toward the end of the season.

So you think they'll go after a defensive lineman next year? A cornerback? A wide receiver? Keyshawn and Terry Glenn aren't spring chickens.

As a fan of the Boys, its really hard to watch them. They are not a contender and should go ahead and get Drew the experience he needs while Vinny is around to mentor him.

As is the case with many teams, the Boys have a lot of injuries right now. Its difficult to get a read on what they can do without having all the pieces of the puzzle together.

That's football, though Sam. That's why depth is important, and role players as well. Which all feeds back, to SOME extent into coaching and personnel decisions.

Who else did they lose other than Carter? With him at QB they sure did a lot better than so far with Vinny.... (Yeah I was a Quincy basher last year LOL)
