JR Alts
I've been thinking about giving some JR Alts a try. I've never had them. I know that some are better than others and I've heard that some are identical to certain name brands. Anyone have any favorites? How similar are the Alts to Punch Roths?

If you're looking for a cost effective Punch Rothschild try the Consuergra #9.

What ET said.
Alts are "imitations," Connies are seconds. BIG difference.

I have smoked some of both, and I have to say both are a crapshoot. I have had connies that were worse than any alt I have tried, and I have had connies that were better than any alt I have tried. FWIW, IMHO, YMMV, etc, etc.
As a rule, Alt EL's are better than straight up Alts.
