Recharge Boveda Packs?
Has anyone tried to recharge a Boveda pack? It seems like it should be able to work. After all, the Boveda pack is a two way humidifier. So, you would think that if you placed it in an environment where the RH was over the set point that it would absorb moisture, which would allow you to "recharge it" when the water level got too low. Does that make sense? Has anyone tried it?

I recharge my bovedas in the bottom drawer of my club chairside cabinet. I have 8 old fashioned sponge humidifiers down there that have had the sponges removed and replaced with 65% beads. I place the bovedas on top of the humidifiers and they get recharged in less than a week.

I have bout 50 of them and do it all the time. Easier way is too wet ( almost soak) some paper towels, and put them in a ziplock bag with the packs and they will absorb all the moisture and make them new again.
I have done this with many that felt like little rocks in the packs, and brought them back to new |

I have two bags of 65% beads in the Legendor. There is a Boveda pack under each one. After I soak the beads, each Boveda soaks up just a tad bit.
