New location for Philly Mini-Herf

Change of Venue for Mini-Herf in Philly with Flipflop
(Sunday, May 5, 3 PM)

Since Holt's is closed on Sunday, I called a place in Philly and confirmed they allow cigars (but do not sell them) and are open on Sundays. It's a British pub/restaurant called DARK HORSE PUB (formerly the Dickens Inn) located at 421 South Second St. (On Second between Pine and Lombard).

Here are driving/parking directions:

from I-95 North.....
Travelling North on I-95 take exit 20. Keep to the right lane on the exit ramp and turn right at light. Turn right again at next light, "Reed Street". Turn right at the stop sign on to "Front Street". Go thru next light and next five stop signs. After "South Street" move to left lane and turn left at the stop sign on to "Lombard Street". Go one block to Second Street and Dickens Inn is to the right between Pine and Lombard Streets.

from I-95 South.....
Travelling South on I-95 take exit 16 and turn right at light. Turn right at next light "Christian Street" and right again at stop sign "Front Street". Go thru five stop signs and, after "South Street", move to left lane and turn left at stop sign on to "Lombard Street". Go one block to Second Street and Dickens Inn is to the right between Pine and Lombard Streets.

from the Walt Whitman Bridge.....
Join I-95 North and follow directions above.

from the Ben Franklin Bridge.....
Keep in the right lane and make a "hairpin" right turn at the end of the ramp. This is a tight U-turn and will take you down under the off-ramp to Fourth Street. Turn right and follow Fourth Street eight blocks to Pine Street. Turn left on Pine and go two blocks to Second Street. Turn right and Dickens Inn is on the left between Pine and Lombard.

from I-76.....
Exit at Eight Street or Sixth Street and follow either for eight blocks to Pine. Turn left and follow Pine Street to Second. Turn right on Second and Dickens Inn is on the left between Pine and Lombard.

Parking
Dark Horse offers validated parking in the NewMarket Garage which is the multi-storey garage on the right hand side of Lombard Street, just off Second Street. Bring your parking ticket to the hostess for validation.
