Musty Odor in Cabinet?

Santa came a little early this year, and brought me my first cabinet humi. I've had it loaded for a couple of weeks now. It's about 7 feet tall & 4 feet wide, and I use a Moist-N-Aire unit to humidify it.

I've noticed occasionally that there will be a musty odor in the area around the Moist-N-Aire. I've washed out the reservoir with hot soapy water and chipped away the bulk of the mineral deposits that had built up (bought both the cabinet & the Moist-N-Aire used). I also wiped down the fan blades, as they appeared to have a thin layer of mildew forming.

Any tips or thoughts from those of you with cabinets about how to get rid of the musty smell would be much appreciated. Do you use 50/50 in your reservoir? Would that matter?

Thanks for any advice!
