New Don Henley album
Just been listening to Don Henley's new release, Cass County, sounds pretty good. He has a great supporting cast, Allison Krause, Dolly Parton, Martina McBride among others. It has a fairly spare country sound to it. If you're a fan you may want to check it out.

I like the supporting cast, but I don't have any love for Henley himself. Are the duets good enough to overcome that?

Hmmmmm, not sure if the supporting cast would be enough to sway if you are not a Henley fan....but I do especially like the duet he does with Dolly Parton.

I got completely and utterly bored with the Eagles more than 30 years ago. They are like Neil Young...if you've heard one of their hits, you've pretty much heard them all. Unless you have a personal connection to that place and time, they pretty much sound the same.

I understand why you would say that, I hated them throughout HS and college. Then I went to a concert and have been hooked ever since.

The post Eagles Don Henley produced a lot of good music:
Dirty Laundry The Boys of Summer All She Wants to Do Is Dance The Heart of the Matter The Last Worthless Evening Sunset Grill Not Enough Love in the World New York Minute The End of the Innocence. I own his greatest hits CD and will likely buy the new one.

In my world, the Coen Brothers are a national treasure. Even their bad movies are still pretty good. Except Inside Llewelyn Davis. That movie just sucked rocks.
