Vacuum Sealers...

Maybe someone can help with this... I thought I read somewhere that vacuum sealing your cigars would kill the chance of a beatle attack. Like put them in a mason jar and vacuum sealing them for awhile (don't know how long) then put 'em in the humi.

Does anyone here do that? Would it work rather that the freezing method?
