Humidipak's new $49 calibration kit consists of three ziploc bags, engineered to produce and maintain these relative humidity levels (w/reading variable of +/- .3 %)(for 12 months):

• bag 1, 32.0 %
  bag 2, 52.5 %
  bag 3, 75.5 %

Tear off the top of the plastic bag and insert your hygrometer, seal the bag, and leave the hygrometer for 24 to 36 hours. Start with the lowest humidity bag (32 %) and escalate to the highest humidity bag (same procedure for each bag). Result: a totally accurate calibration of your hygrometer's conditions.
