Z Plus
Just thought I'd give another plug for the Z Plus lighter. For those of you who don't know, these are the butane replacements for your favorite Zippo. I bought mine over a year ago at Famous for $10 and it's still working great. What's really fun about these is that you can transfer it to different lighters if you have a collection. For anyone sick of fussing with their expensive lighters this is the way to go.

This is the lighter I leave at work. Excellent and doesn't require refilling often!

I just bought one of these and it's acting pretty weird (colibri fluid). It only seems to consistently light when not in the zippo case. When in the zippo case it seldom fires off and when it does fire off the flame height seems to change when more or less pressure is put on the lighting depressor. Then once it does get going it doesn't stay burning for longer than 15-20 seconds.
Anyhow maybe I got a dud from the folks over at heartfelt industries. I switched back to the zippo regular insert and will probably just get another Blazer PB207 (it finally died after YEARS). |

i love my z-plus. the only problem i have with it is that its a tad too small for the Zippo case. i put a small piece of paper in the case under the insert to push it up in there and it works great...

My Z-Plus has worked flawlessly since I got it right after they first hit the market.....
