25 people is a lot even if it's just cigarettes. Get that many puffing on 60 ring toros of the variety that leave bruises on your liver, you might as well burn a rick of green wood in the fireplace.

Apparently, some of the people who owned this house smoked. There are still times, over twenty years since it was last occupied by others, we still get the smell of smoke in here occasionally on either very hot, or damp days. The only original surfaces left are the wallpaper in a few closets, one room with original wallpaper, and the ceiling paper in all rooms. It'd cost me well over a thousand dollars to strip off and paint those ceilings.
