to add to a port -style wine concentrate kit I have currently fermenting. The directions suggest fortifying with a quart of brandy to emulate the traditional flavor (and also i suspect to help knock the yeast out of suspension)

The port's got a little oak in it (and probably destined for a bit more of some dark toasted oak once i taste the fermented product) so I think i'd like a brandy that accentuates the vanilla-oak elements I anticipate the finished wine having, if there is such thing.

Nothin toooooo pricey since I'm just dumping this into something else, but I dont want to ruin a 70 dollar wine batch by cutting it with crap either, y'know?
