Was given one of these by a friend to try out. Construction was nice, typically Upmann, no flaws.
It cut fine, lit well and burned perfect. This cigar produced a good amount of smoke, with a nice aroma, not overpowering.
This cigar was on the mild side for me but nonetheless a nice relaxing smoke.
Although the flavor of this cigar didn't seem to change, I didn't get bored with it.
All in all I would recommend these for the person looking for a mild Dominican.

I didn't know Upmann made a figurado. Is this new? Or very old?

How would you describe the flavor, btw? I've found Upmann's in general to be a bit on the brash side (especially the Cubans), which isn't bad if that's what you're in the mood for.

The mustard seed is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is the greatest of shrubs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.

I got a Upmann sampler pack from CBid that had a figurado in it. I haven't smoked it yet but some of the others in the sampler have had a real nice flavor. I like the DR Upmanns. ORV

No, it's not too cold out for a cigar.

Don't know the history of this size. They are available @ $4.00.
As for flavor, there was nothing that stood out. It was a nondescript smooth cigar. It developed a little kick towards the end, but I think that had to do more with the byproducts of smoking than anything else.
