I used to use empty boxes, but found they were a PITA to get to once they were stacked.
I had some extra material left over from the walls/ceiling of the walk-in so I made singles cubbies. See pic in the photobucket album. http://s1085.photobucket.com/albums/...-in%20humidor/ I measured the overall size I wanted, then cut the thickness of the wood halfway in (from the back end of each piece) so they interlocked. A little wood glue and a back for rigidity and it was good to go! Hope this helps!
