Earlier today my neighbor was washing his car and had a radio on and Cat Scratch Fever played. Man hadn't heard that in years.

Revisiting the past, Jethro Tull's Aqualung album, released in 1971, the year I graduated college.
They don't make innovative music like that anymore.

IMO the best live version of the title track from the album, Aqualung in London 1977. Ian Anderson didn't/doesn't drink or do drugs. He was just a consummate frontman putting on a great performance of a great song. Martin Barre on lead guitar is outstanding as well. Enjoy!

Music from the French Renaissance. Hard to dance to.

Here's a good one. Sergio Mendez and Brazil 66. Old school samba.

I’m listening to a Vera Lynn playlist on Deezer, 1936 Dance Hits. There is this one song that made me bust a gut. It’s called My Girl’s Pussy by Harry Roy and His Club Boys.

The way these music artists got around making controversial lyrics cracks me up. The song is about his lady’s cat. WINK WINK

That was the running joke with Mrs. Slocomb in Are You Being Served? There was at least one "pussy (cat)" joke in each episode.
