Improvised Humidor

Being the tobacco shops are currently closed with the coronavirus floating around I can't buy locally because those shops are nonessential businesses. So I've had to resort buying cigars online. No biggie on my part as buying in bulk might workout right now. So to keep my stogies fresh I decided to make an improvised humidor until I make a coolerdor. So what I did I bought an extra-large Tupperware style container from where I work. I also ordered some Boveda humidi-packs online at 72% humidity to keep in the container. What are your thoughts?

Should work fine depending on the size of the container.

So sad that your governor has deemed such an important small business as non essential... Ours is open. Only a few people allowed inside at one time, staff pick up the cigars, package beer and wine available...and a few of us sat a good 6 feet apart outside filling the air with smoke and conversation. Plenty of hand sanitizer on site...

Tupperware should work just fine. Let's call it a tupperdore.

Also, if you buy boxes of cigars, leave the cigars in the boxes. If you run out of room, the boxes might have spanish cedar inserts or spacers in them. Hang on to them and keep them in your tupperdore if you take the cigars out of the boxes. They'll help stabilize the humidity and season the cigars like the boxes or a wooden humidor. I used to use a tupperdore when I bought more cigars than my humidor(s) would hold.

Did you get the PM I sent you last Friday? I know you're busy. I just wanted to make sure you got it. Thanks.
