IPCPR: Folye Meteor Hammer
This is my first cigar in two weeks due to having to pass an insurance physical so my palate should be clean and unobstructed.
This 6 1/2 x 52 perfecto is medium brown in color and mottled in appearance. The foot end has a large piece of loose wrapper hanging off. The cold draw tasted like cedar, with a hint of cream. First third. It burned rather crooked (maybe because of the tear) and gives off a fair amount of smoke which is rich and lingers on the palate. I still get the cedar after taste but now with a little vanilla thrown in. Halfway. Still getting cedar and now a musty wood taste (kinda like it)..Burn has almost corrected itself. Ash is grey and mottled. Last third. Still a solid medium and still getting cedar, some pepper, and musty wood like a damp cellar in my mouth for an aftertaste. Overall a decent stick..Prelight-8, Light-8, Draw-10, Construction-7, Flavor-8, Power-5..total 8
