Fuente Riserva Don Carlos
I am not usually much of a Fuente fan (average cigars, but expert marketers IMO), but I was able to land three of these when the box came in at the B&M (they sold out in a day and that was his only box they would send him). Gave one away to pcaponi for a SB bet I lost (I still cannot believe the Beagles won lol. Ok, that isn't really true, they are very good. I think I just vomited in my mouth a little bit saying that).
Anyway, back to the cigar: beautiful wrapper, well rolled box pressed torp. Now I usually don't care for box pressed cigars, so this one was already starting with some preconceived notions on my part. The burn started off with a little bit of a difficult draw and uneven burn, but that quickly went away. As opposed to some Fuente products that are just nicotine bombs, this one was a nice, rich, flavorful smoke. I was quit impressed with this one and nubbed it. About now I am wishing I hadn't send that one to Phil lol. Gumby gives this Fuente a full 5 out of 5 stars. It was that darn good.
