My Stinky Humidor

All,

I have 3 separate bundles aging in one humidor and when I open the humi up I get a whiff of a "different" smell. It does not smell like cedar, and I am leaning towards the "ammonia" type of smell that I have read about, however, ammonia doesn't really pop into my mind when I get a whiff. I have been opening the humi daily for about 3-5 seconds in the hope that this is enough for a quick air exchange. The humi is chock full too. As I was seasoning it, the cedar smell was really noticeable. Lastly, my other humi, the one for the "immediate" smokes smells like cedar, no stink.

Any ideas? Do I need to be worried? RH has been steady at 70!

John
