the humidity in the freezer is low it would dry it out and you risk freezer burn. that's my opinion. air cold enough to freeze water doesn't hold much water.
my dad smoked a pipe in the day, and he did stuff I wouldn't do with cigars. I doubt the glass jar with 'humidor' on the front of it actually worked as a humidor either... people may freeze cigars to kill beetles, but part of that process is allowing them to come back to normal temp/humidity over time. the above is opinion...
