Is humid air heavier than dry?

Or is it the other way around?

I have an end table/cabinet style humidor with 3 shelves and a tray on top. I am trying to figure out the most optimal place for a humidifier. So if the humid air is heavier than dry, and will descend, it would make sense to place the humidifier at the top shelf. But if it's lighter and will rise, then at the base.

Does this make sense? Thanks.
