I ordered 2 whiskey advent calendars this year, the first arrived 3 weeks ago the day after I ordered it (sent from Birmingham UK). The other (via Glasgow) is held up in NYC (along with many others - the place ships a load to the USA then ships from a retailer in ID) as customs in "using a fine tooth comb on whiskey right now" per the vendor.
I may get it before Christmas. Funny, because the calendar is not from one source of whiskey (but many whiskies) it is exempt from the tariff.
