Indian Tabac Maduro
I got a couple of these gems in a newbie sampler that I did with swchurchill. I smoked my first Robusto tonight.
Construction was superb, a very nice wrap throughout the cigar from foot to cap. It had a gorgeous sheen to it, slightly oily in appearance and a very firm feel. The roll of this cigar was nearly flawless IMHO, one simple clip left no loose ends. This cigar initially produced chocolate flavors, then shifted to a more leathery, tobacco flavor towards the middle. The long finish shifted to dark chocolate and espresso flavors. Each draw was easily taken and packed with a SOLID dose of Vitamin N and produced a thick, chewy, dense smoke. I'm glad that I smoked this on a full stomach. The singed charcoal colored ash clung very tight to the body of the cigar. A slightly uneven burn was easily corrected a couple of times with my torch. This cigar was smoked with pleasure to the nub in roughly 1:15. My first experience with RP's cigars, won't be my last |
