Leon Jimenes Cigars were originally made with Camie wrappers and they were fine cigars. This of course was pre-boom and the quality of cameroon wrappers were FAR superior back then. The Partagas 10 was one of the best cigars made at that point (for example).

Eventually LJs were wrapped with Connecticut Shade (BIG BIG difference)

This cigar somewhat brings back what I remember of the old Leon Jimenese. I agree with Gumby on the construction of this cigar and it may take a bit but this cigar does generate the sweet spice taste of a good cammie wrapped cigar. The flavors up to that point are of dark coffee and leather with a long aftertaste.

IMO these are excellent cigars.
