Smooth, dark, with only a few predominate veins the cigar looked well constructed except for a rough looking cap. The first few draws produced a sickly bitter vegetal flavor that reminded me of collard greens that have been cooked for too long. The first third burned crooked and had a bitter, tart, spicy, and vegetal flavor that had me hoping that the flavor hold soon change. About half-way, the cigar smoothed out and became a pleasant spice and salt combo. The spice notes softened and the cigar finished with hay like flavor. All in all I thought that the cigar had decent construction but a bad taste
