Casa Turrent 1901 Robusto
This cigar has a nice smooth box pressed Habano wrapper. The bunch is firm. The cold draw is perfect. Today’s beverage is a cold Topo Chico.
The initial flavors are earth and oak. A good medium profile with plentiful smoke. The retrohale is very smooth. The burn is mostly even. In the first third the strength increases a bit with some spicy notes. A light black pepper note appears in the retrohale. The burn remains mostly even. During the second third the flavor profile remains consistent and pleasant. This is a medium to full bodied smoke. The pepper in the retrohale comes and goes a bit. The burn has become very even. Approaching the final inch the complexity of flavors remains excellent. The retrohale is very smooth. The construction of the cigar is excellent. 9/10, Joe Bob says check it out.
