Memories of the Old CW Reno Herf(it would be this weekend)

For you Newbs this is new, for FOGS, it's memories. This weekend used to be the annual HERF of CW held in Reno,NV. I, along with many have had the pleasure to experience this long weekend. The "former owners aka WACS" held this event every MLK weekend, most of the casinos were dark and looking for revenue. Thus, bring in 30-40 people, gambling, free booze and FUN yeah it worked. I went to 4 of these and had a blast. I met numerous CW Members, made memories and in my last visit to Reno, I was bestowed a MOAB's that was orchestrated by Idahogin(Shawn), and fulfilled by many members at that time. Even though I can't smoke anymore, I still miss the times that members got together; Reno or NOLA, Turkey Crawl, or the others. Also, the Former Owner's had a MOM( Member of the Month) which was voted on by the cast of members here. The MOM Winners were placed into a drawing and the lucky person from the draw received a weeks stay at a Mexican resort. I was a recipient of this prize but given it from a MOM Winner Tommy2B.

I hope that some Herfs could arise that all members could attend and meet up. IMO, you really don't appreciate the members here, nor the friendships that can be obtained.
