This cigar has been in my humi for about 2-3 months.
Pre-light - Nice maduro wrapper, but there also were some large veins. Also noticed a few white spot, which I'm not sure what they were. The cigar was firm and overall had good construction, Love this size cigar. Taste - I'd say this is a medium to full bodied cigar. First few puff exploded with spice. By the half inch mark it leveled out, spice was still there but lighter and didn't distract from the enjoyment(yes I'm not big spice fan). Flavors of mocha, with a sweet overtone mixed in nicely. There was also some coffe which made a nice complexity. Burn - Very nice and even thoughout Ash - Dark gray with some black specks, The ash flaked a little and wasn't very firm , it feel off quickly, never stayed on very long. Overall a very good cigar. I'd give it an 8-8.5. I'll need to get a few more of these. |

Sounds good! I've been meaning to try these for a while, I'll have to remember to add a few when I place my next order...

While I love the Serie R flavor, I personally don't care for the larger ring size. I wish El Credito would make a Corona and/or Lonsdale using the Serie R blend.

Great review. It's been awhile since I've lit one of these, so now I'll have to go dig one out of the humidor.

Good review. I try to like the Serie R's but lately I've found them to be a bit inconsistant in burn and strength.
SSJ...I'm good at what I do. What is it that I do again?!!!

Nice review. I keep at least 10 or 15 of the #4's, #5's, and #6's on hand at all times. My favorite is the #6, but they are all very consistent smokes. I've yet to smoke a bad LGC.
