Thank you to Jim and Cheakamus for locking up Part 2. I was a little dismayed that all the posting continued after my post but now "you" have no choice but to post here on Part 3
Very nice lunch today! I totally enjoyed 2 cigars and a nice conversation with Joe and Mark. I later talked to Denise (Floyd's S.O.) and she was telling me that while the whole court battle goes on with Floyd vs. Joe the place is barely making ends meet. She says not to worry as they have plenty of other income to keep it going for a "LONG" time but they are biting at the bit to get rid of Joe (NOT PigBoy ) so they can do some big time marketing etc and get going with the beer and wine license that is already approved. They haven't implemented the license because they basically want to show that the place is not turning a profit so that Joe won't want half of it. A very sad story. Moral being that NEVER go into business with your best friend (or family for that matter)! Best to keep your social life and business life separate. So, Vikder...as much as I love the above rules and all, I was wondering when the real set of rules would be out so we can prepare for THIS Thursday's Herf (i.e. the day AFTER tomarrow!!! ) By the way, in regards to the last bit of thread on Part 2. Isleton puts on a fantastic Crawdad festival. However, last years got so out of control with all the booze and people that they are considering cancelling it this year Also, do any of the local guys want me to get them a bottle of Coyopa Rum while it is at the AMAZING price of $15.99 a bottle (usually goes for around $50)? Let me know and I will pick up a few extra bottles and bring them to the Herf Thursday! Greg |
