Busted Xikar cutter

I've got one of these that isn't working anymore:

http://www.usalighters.com/store/i/i...0&bh=160&h=160

When you move the button to open up the cutter it doesn't open anymore. It just happened all of the sudden, it was never stuck or felt like it was starting to stick.

Anyone else have this problem? Can I fix it?

Xikar has a great return policy. Mail it to them and they will send you a new in no time.

Try cleaning it with some rubbing alcohol.

+1 And use the alcohol to clean the blades with a Q-tip at the same time.

Seriously, clean the pivot and blades with rubbing alcohol.

Dry with a soft cloth. Careful, it's sharp!

Lubricate the pivot with a drop (not a spray) of WD-40.

Maybe rub a little on the blades and wipe again.
