Just from general experience the taste of ammonia and tobacco really becomes overpowering and the end becomes quite bitter, sour and unpleasant. Surprisingly after a Churchill, the Padron was still smooth and didnt get any of that 'end-of-cigar' taste. If I didnt have such a nicotine buzz I would definitely have nubbed it.
The bitterness happens commonly with Cubans, but maybe it's just because I've smoked more Cubans than NC's.
