Just beginning to get into maintaining smokes at home (about six months with 2 humis) --- I've been running one of my humis with 65% beads and the other with 70%. Here in Southern California I'm finding that I prefer the sticks from the 70% box --- the ones from the 65% box do have a slight cracking when gently rolled between the fingers next to the ear --- not so of the 70s. The 70s also are smoking a lot cooler than the 65s and finish up better.

So, I think even in the face of the many of you that have far more experience than I at this sorta thing I'll be storing all my smokes at 70%.
