Oasis is active
beads are passive Depends what your objective is, both work very well and in cases work together very well also. Not sure what your looking for here either? |

Are passive beads as good as an active CO?

If you live in an area with high humidity, then you might want to put a pound or so of beads inside to absorb any extra humidity. The CO can only add moisture, it can't remove it. I keep my cabinet in a climate controlled office, so the outside RH never gets over 50, so I don't need the beads. But if the outside RH gets over 70, you'll probably want to use the beads and a CO.
