Whisk(e)y in Spain and Portugal
If you want American whiskey you will find Jack Daniels and maybe Jim Beam or Gentleman Jack. I did see Buffalo Trace at El Corte Inglés yesterday. I’ve seen more Scotch - blended and single malt - this time. But the usual is J&B or JW red label. It’s not really a whiskey world. Gin, wow, all sorts of gin. And a G&T with a basil leaf in it is really quite good.

Don't they still carry White Horse Blended Scotch? I found that one to be a fairly decent option at less than 10 Euros the last time I was there.

I saw that, Vat whatever and Buchanans pretty frequently. The gin varieties are astounding. Goodness but there is some awe inspiring gin from Galicia. The bay leaf instead of lime trick really was excellent (so was tart green apple and raspberry - the raspberry was pretty and didn't add much flavor, the green apple with a very fruity Portuguese gin was great)
But honestly, I am not in Iberia for the whisk(e)y, I am there for the wine and food, more on that later.

I know, I know, Captain Obvious here! I did try DyC whiskey last time I was there and thought it was a waste of euro.
