I have come to the conclusion that I do not Like V cuts

When I use a cutter the guillotine type i usually cut off more than I should , so , I started trying out the V-cut end of my cutter , and after about a week I have decided I just simply do not like the way my cigars taste when using the V-cut.

When I use the V-cut , they tend to burn my tongue and have an almost ash tray flavor to them , I finally confirmed this last night , I started out with a V-cut smoked about an inch of the cigar and it simply wasn't enjoyable , I re-cut it using the other end of the cutter which opened it up quite a bit , and viola , it was an enjoyable cigar... I can only assume that it is because the smoke doesn't get concentrated before it hits my tongue...

So , no more V-cuts for me...
