Room 101 Farce Lonsdale prototype

This cigar has a somewhat veiny but oily Habano wrapper. Aromas of coffee and cedar come from the foot. The bunch is a bit on the hard side of firm and the cold draw is a bit tight. Today’s beverage is a Chameleon Cold Brew Pecan latte.



Despite the somewhat tight draw the cigar is burning well and producing plentiful smoke. The flavors are coffee, cedar and nuts. There is white pepper in the retrohale. The burn is very even and the ash is a fairly solid looking mottled grey. The cold press latte is, as usual, perfect for a morning smoke.



The ash drops in my lap after one inch. In the first third the burn begins to run up one side. I will give it a chance to correct before touching it up. The flavors remain consistent and complex.



During the second third the burn evens out with no touch-up. As humid as it is this morning I am kind of surprised that it is trying to burn straight and has not gone out. A bit of sweetness has joined the flavor profile and the white pepper notes remain solid in the retrohale.



Approaching the final inch the humidity finally got to the cigar and it went out, but the burn was so even that relight was easy. Great complexity and construction get this one a 9.5/10. Joe Bob says check it out.
