P-lip and dry tobacco

I learned the other day that tobacco that is a bit dry and a Peterson's P-lip bit pipe is a really bad combination. The tobacco burned a bit hot and the P-lip poured the smoke directly onto the roof of my mouth. At the time I didn't think it was too bad. A day later I had a blister and peeling skin. Today it's still raw and sensitive. No smoking for a day or two yet. Okay, I've learned my lesson, my tobbacco is being kept in a humidified container from now on!
