We have a Publix here now. My Bride was out with Gpa and picked up some fried chicken for lunch for themselves. I had a leftover piece and gotta say it's damn good.

We both had a long day so we settled for an easy homemade biscuits and sausage gravy for supper.

I only use Publix for brands I can't find anywhete else. They are a carriage trade store, with no really good discounts (bogo were good until they eliminared double coupons) and prices that can be as much as 40% higher than Kroger. I would like to shop there more, but I cannot justify it. They are now building Greenwise stores to compete with Whole Foods and those two are unaffordable.

I haven't been to the one here yet. I do appreciate that they have Cuban bread no one else does around here.

Tonight's dinner was crackers and oversized peperoni and some peanut butter and crackers.

Publix is based in Miami, so it makes sense that they carry it. I find it at Kroger, but intermittently.
