Received my maduro Angy Elf robusto cigars. I've smoked a couple. They are tightly rolled with a good draw. Wrapper is thick and substantial and the burn is even. Only used one match. Flavor reminds me of an Onyx. These are a good buy.

RP Decade is not a candela wrapper... it's a sumatra.
Victor Sinclair makes a candela - i bought a box a couple years back and split it with a friend... smoked them all up.

My mistake. The RP Edge comes with a candela offering.

Looks like the VS candela is no longer available.

The only (usually) candela I will smoke is from Illusionne, although I really enjoy the opening blast of candela in the Green Hornet from Black Label.

CI is advertising the Filthy Hooligans today. They're in the Daily Deals thread, but I don't find them much of a deal . However, that's simply me.

I'm just not a huge fan of barber pole wrappers. I can understand the why, but I would much prefer smoking the same cigar in each wrapper before I try the combination. Just me.

Can anyone really taste a difference on a barber pole when it burns through the different wrapper?

Best that I could do was on the old Mantequilla Tapa Negra that JR offered years ago.

But that's an apple/orange comparison.
