What I don't understand is...Eddie is taking his 16 year old son along on bass.
Is the guy that good? Mature enough to handle a tour? Guess Eddie thinks so.

There is NO Van Halen without Diamond Dave. I'm psyched - last time I saw VH was in '83 or '84. I just checked and the closest they get to me is Charlotte

I saw some of the press conference yesterday. Lots of "we are at our best" hype. Hope they can follow through. I have seen both Van Halen and Van Hagar. Both put on good shows. I just wonder if DLR will drive Eddie back to the bottle!

If tickets aren't too outragous I may go seem them. Maybe.

PS. Hell froze over when the Eagles got back together. Pigs flew yesterday.

No way would Eddie take his son with him if this were the good old days. Now, they are all so old and broken down, the poor kid will be bored out of his ass watchin Dad, Uncle and crazy Dave take a nap after the show.

They might start a tour but I don't think a bus has been made yet that will hold all that ego without imploding.
